People often ask me how I got into massage and my response is quite surprising: I started walking on my mom’s back when I was two. It was not always apparent to me growing up that massage therapy would one day be my career, but I knew it was something I was always naturally good at. I grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. After graduating high school, I decided to move to Milwaukee and enroll into massage school.
In 2005, I graduated with a certificate in massage therapy from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy. Soon thereafter, I received my license from the state of Wisconsin and my National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
I have been helping people with pain management and tension relief for 12 years now and I absolutely love being a massage therapist! As a therapist, I am able to help people with their pain better than most therapists because of my extensive knowledge of the body.
Having personally experienced injuries in my life, I focus on problematic areas of the body, such as TMJ, sciatica, and migraine headaches, to name a few. I specialize in neck and shoulder therapy and really enjoy giving deep tissue and therapeutic massages.
